On behalf of all of us at Hinderliter Hearing Services, I would like to take a moment to say thank you for your loyalty and support. The past several months have been unlike anything we’ve ever experienced.  We have been and continue working hard to improve our office protocols, continue our education, and learn how to provide telehealth audiology services.   We have been serving you in new ways, whether that is online, over the phone, or through our contactless curbside services.   We want to continue to bring you the service and convenience you have always known even if it may look a little different than it has in the past.  Your health and the health of our staff are our priority. We want to be sure the approach when you enter our office is thoughtful, and that we are creating an environment that’s safe for everyone.   Below are the new updates to our office and the way we provide services to you to help keep everyone healthy.

Covid-19 Safety Protocols | Suspension of Walk-In Hours: Unfortunately, to ensure that there are no patients in the waiting room, we will be required to suspend any walk-in hours for the time being.  All patients are required to make appointments for in-office or curbside help.

For in-office appointments:

• All persons entering the office will wear a mask at all times

• All staff will wear a mask at all times

•No patients will be seated in the waiting room

•We are taking steps to allow for social distancing of six feet or more, including limiting the number of patients in the office at one time.

•Increasing cleaning and sanitization

•All patients will have a health screening over the phone prior to being scheduled

•All patients will fill out paperwork prior to arriving at the office

•Patients will be instructed to call the office prior to coming in.

•Patients will be called when the previous patient has left office, office/exam room has been cleaned, and all staff is ready for next patient

•We will ask patients to come alone to their appointment.  If they must bring someone, limit it to one person

•All patients will undergo non-contact temperature screening prior to entering office

•Patients will be directed to appropriately apply hand sanitizer before entering the office

•Appointments will be scheduled further apart to help limit patient contact

•Patients who are not feeling well, even mild symptoms, are asked to please call our office and reschedule their appointment

Curbside service: This is available for hearing aid cleanings, supply pick-ups (such as batteries and filters and repaired hearing aids).  or for anyone with a non-functioning hearing aid for us to diagnose. Please call the office when you arrive, and we will come to your vehicle.

Telehealth: We now have the capability of making changes and reprogramming some hearing aids remotely.  We also have the capability for video chats on your smartphone or computer to address issues you may be experiencing.

Again, thank you for your continued loyalty. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
