Meredith Joaquim

Meredith Joaquim is a Hearing Instrument Specialist at Hearing Well Matters! where she is responsible for testing patients, selecting, and fitting new hearing aids, as well as patient counselling. On a mission to improve each patient’s communication with their friends and family, she is focused on improving interpersonal communication styles and creating an opportunity for better hearing.

Prior to taking on her role at Hearing Well Matters! Meredith gained experience in the hearing healthcare industry and patient centred care as the administrative assistant at the Burlington Costco Wholesale Hearing Centre.

Meredith has been recognized in the industry by her college and hearing aid manufacturers for leadership and patient care. Graduating with distinction, Meredith is excited to start her career as a clinician at Hearing Well Matters! (Because it really does matter!)

Jess Phillips

Jess Phillips is our trusted Office Manager. Born and raised in Hamilton, she has experienced multiple Medical Office and Administrative Support jobs in the GTA/Surrounding Areas. She brings an ample amount of Administrative experience, great customer focus, and a bright welcoming smile to the Clinic. Jess found her passion in helping the Hard of Hearing and is looking forward to meeting and establishing long-term relationships with all our patients and is a strong believer that Hearing Well Matters!

Rob Hamilton

Rob is the clinic owner and clinician at Hearing Well Matters! Rob has worked in Canadian healthcare for over 30 years, and most recently served as the Canadian Managing Director at Starkey Hearing Technologies, one of the leading global manufacturers of hearing instruments. While at Starkey, he led all facets of the business and he worked with many Canadian clinicians and patients. developing a passion for helping patients living with hearing loss. This led him to seek qualification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist, and he graduated with distnction from the HIS program at Conestoga College. Rob is fully accredited as a H.I.S. with the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario.

Rob brings a special understanding of assessing and treating patients living with hearing loss. He recently turned 60 years of age, and like many of his Baby Boomer generation, he lives with high frequency hearing loss and benefits greatly from wearing hearing aids. This gives him real insight and empathy into what adult hearing loss patients go through, and the features and benefits of modern hearing instruments and their related accessories.

Rob is married to Debbie, and between them, they have six young adult children,and two grand-kids. He has made Burlington and the Maple community his home for over 20 years, and has been an active in the community, coaching his children in hockey (BLOMHA) and baseball (BOMBA), as well serving as a Board Director at Joseph Brant Hospital from 2009-2018.

Rob is passionate about helping Burlington patients who live with hearing loss, and is a strong believer that truly Hearing Well Matters!
