Our Professional Staff

Casey started at Brown Hearing Centers while still in high school and worked with us through his time in college. Upon earning his Bachelors of Science in Biology, he began working full-time as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Casey is based in our Beaumont, Texas office where he is committed to serving patient needs in Southeast Texas.

Son of our Founders, Dave Brown grew up in the business. As a teenager, he began working for the company in an official capacity as an assistant to several departments including the print shop, laboratory, and patient care. Dave earned a Bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University as well as a Biblical Studies certification from Victory Bible Institute.

Eddie, grandson of our founder, has been a valuable employee of Brown Hearing Centers since 2003. In 2005, after attending Lamar State College, he began his career as a hearing professional and began servicing the hearing needs of the East Texas area.

Mr. Toohey has dedicated his career to the hearing needs of Texas and Louisiana. In 1986, he began working as a Hearing Instrument Specialist for Brown Hearing Centers. As President of Operations, he is based at our corporate headquarters in Orange, Texas. Mr. Toohey is a member of the Texas Hearing Aid Association, Louisiana Society of Hearing Aid Specialists, Rotary International, and the International Hearing Society.

Mr. Bland services patients in Louisiana and has been a dedicated hearing professional for Brown Hearing Centers since 1997. He is a member of the Louisiana Society of Hearing Aid Specialists.

Karlene, daughter of our founder, grew up in the family business and began working for us as a high school student and maintained her employment with the company during her time at college. She has been a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist since 1983. Karlene currently serves as our Vice President as well as the Practice Administrator at our corporate headquarters. She is a long-time member of the Texas Hearing Aid Association.

Mr. Toohey, grandson of our founder, began working in the family business in 2006. After graduating from Lamar University in 2011, he began his career as a hearing instrument specialist. Matthew is a member of the Texas Hearing Aid Association, as well as the International Hearing Society.

Positioned as the southernmost member of our Central Texas team, Philip diligently serves the Greater San Antonio area and surrounding territories.

Spencer continues to be a valued member of our team, now bringing his expertise and dedication to Southeast Texas. Relocating to our offices in Nederland and Kirbyville.
