What is a community care provider?

When needed care cannot be accessed by a Veteran by traveling to the Veterans Administration (VA) campus, community care may be able to be utilized. Per the VA, community care is based on specific eligibility requirements, availability of VA care, and the needs and circumstances of individual Veterans. At Advanced Hearing Care, our providers are credentialed by the VA for treatment, diagnosis, and management of Veterans’ hearing and balance needs. In the local area, most VA facilities are outside of a 50-mile radius. Due to this barrier to receiving care, many Veterans qualify to have all of their audiologic services provided at our clinic.
